CITI Program's Interactive Plagiarism Module

CITI Program was represented at the 24th Triennial Commonwealth Medical Association Symposium, hosted on the 14th-16th October 2016 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, by Dr. Paul Braunschweiger (CITI Program CEO) and Dr. Sergio Litewka (CITI Program International Director).
During these seminars, scientists from Commonwealth Nations and the Asian region, met for two full days to dialogue about their organizations’ experiences in biomedical research and clinical trials.  The meeting was chaired by Professor Vajira H. W. Dissanayake MBBS, PhD, FNASSL (Director Human Genetics Unit at the School of Medicine, University of Colombo) and the President of the Commonwealth Medical Association.
CITI Program co-sponsored a two-day satellite workshop, along with the Forum for Ethical Review Committees in Asia and the Western Pacific (FERCAP) and the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP).  Dr. Braunschweiger presented an update about the evolution of CITI Program and Dr. Litewka lectured about international perspectives on research integrity. This satellite workshop also included discussions on the management of conflicts of interests, research ethics committees operations and accreditations, and the activities of FERCAP in the Asian region.
