Qualifying for and Purchasing CE Credits and Units
Learners who express an interest in earning CE credits from their CITI Program training and meet CE credit eligibility requirements may apply for and purchase CE credits and units using their institutional gradebook pages.
Expressing Interest in Earning CE Credits and Units
Learners enable CE functionalities by checking answer “YES” and the type of credit they wish to earn on a CE Preference page accessible through the My CEUs tab on their profile's Main Menu (see below). Preferences must be set prior to beginning a course to enable CE eligibility.
Meeting CE Eligibility Requirements
Learners must review the method of participation by clicking on the "View the Continuing Education Information" page link before beginning their course, giving special attention to:
- Modules eligible for CE certification and credit. These will be flagged with a green YES on the far right hand side of the learner gradebook.
- A minimum quiz score of 70% required for each module.
- The designation periods allowed for the completion of a course by specific profession.
Reviewing CE Eligibility
Learners may review their eligibility to purchase CE credits in the CE credits eligibility and purchase box located at the bottom of their gradebook page. A “Complete Modules” mention under the “Action” header indicates the number of CE certified modules to complete for eligibility (see example below).
Applying for and Purchasing CE Credits
When CE Eligibility requirements are met, learners may apply for CE credits by clicking on the Apply Now link located on their profile's Main Menu (see example below).
Learners can also click on the Apply Now link within the CE credits eligibility and purchase box located at the bottom of their gradebook page (see below).
When clicking on either of these links, learners are taken to a course evaluation and a payment information page. CE certificates are sent by via email immediately after confirmation of payment. CE certificates may also be printed from the My CEUs tab on the learner’s profile.
