Registering and Qualifying for CE/CME Credits

As credentialed learner, you can earn and purchase CE/CME credits with select CITI courses by following these few steps:

1 - Registering:

Go to “CEUs” tab to indicate interest in purchasing CE/CME credits.

STUDENTS: Please note that non-credentialed students enrolled in a college curriculum do not need to accrue/buy CE/CME credit such as types above. Click here for details.

2 - Qualifying:

Follow eligibility instructions covered in CE Disclosures.

To open CE Disclosures, start a course, agree to the Terms of Service, and the Privacy and Cookie Policy, and submit the "Assurance Statement."

Pay special attention to “Method of Participation” section (see sample below) for steps you must follow to qualify for CME credits; i.e.;

- Number of CE certified modules to complete for CME credits

- Quizzes passing scores

- Time period (“credit designation periods”) during which CE certified modules must be completed.

Troubleshoot eligibility issues when needed

You can resolve eligibility issues online after you complete your course. Issues are flagged at two locations on your account:

“Complete (number) modules” notice posted under “Action” header indicates that one or more eligibility requirements have not been met, typically:

- insufficient number of modules completed in current course credit designation period;

- one or several individual module quiz results falling below required 70% passing score.

Clicking on course title bolded blue posted under “Course” header will take you to your course’s CE Disclosures. Carefully review “Method of Participation” to determine remedial action.

“Not Earned” link in the right upper corner of course box indicates that you did not meet all eligibility requirements for CME credits, typically:

- Insufficient number of modules completed in current course credit designation period;

- one or several individual module quiz results falling below required 70% passing score.

Clicking on “Not Earned” link will take you to your course’s CE Disclosures. Carefully review “Method of Participation” to determine remedial action.
