Automatic Course Enrollment Links allow you to craft unique links to enroll learners in a specific course or set of courses. There is no additional fee to use this feature, and you can start using this deep link functionality now if you have Single Sign-On (SSO) enabled.
Creating the Links
For example, if your SSO link is:
https://www.citiprogram.org/Shibboleth.sso/Login?target=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.citiprogram.org%2FSecure%2FWelcome.cfm%3finst%3d0000&entityID=https%3A%2F%2Fexample.entity.id%2Fidp
Add the StageID parameter directly after the "inst" parameter. Note to URL-encode the ampersand (& → %26) and equals sign (= → %3d). Then, list the Stage IDs separated by commas (no spaces) for the courses that you want learners to enroll in by using this link. You can craft as many links to different courses as you like.
The link example below would enroll learners in two courses: one with Stage ID 12345 and the other with Stage ID 23456.

Short Links
This also works with the short links to your SSO and is probably preferred due to their readability. Short links are only available to sites that have a single SSO setup. A short link to your SSO is very simple. The link example below would be for an institution with Institution ID 123.

Then, for automatic enrollment, add the Stage IDs.
https://www.citiprogram.org/portal?site=123&stageID=12345,23456
Locating Stage IDs
Stage IDs for courses can be found via the Admin Reports menu on the Active Courses Being Used page.

Can I automatically enroll learners into multiple courses?
Yes. Include multiple Stage IDs separated by commas in the stageID parameter.
