Q: I don't see the course my professor instructed me to take as an option.


A: Courses are selected during registration from the course enrollment questions, as shown in the example below:

Your university can customize the course names and enrollment questions that guide their learners through curriculum enrollment.

In some cases, the course name the professor provides in their instructions varies from what the university named the course in our system.

Below are some common variations provided by professors: 

CITI Program Course Variations
Human Subjects Research (HSR)Biomedical Basic, Social and Behavioral, Basic, Human Subjects,  Basic Course

If you do not see your courses, please ask your professor for clarification. They may need to contact your IRB or University CITI Program Administrator to update the syllabus with the correct course name.
