Overview

Institutional Administrators can add courses to a learner's account from the learner's Member Information page. The Add a Course feature provides two options:

  • Enrollment via Enrollment Questions (recommended when learners should be assigned courses based on institution-configured enrollment questions)
  • Choose Courses from a List (allows administrators to directly select available courses)

Before You Begin

Navigate to the learner's record:

  1. Log in as an Institutional Administrator.
  2. Select Admin.
  3. Navigate to Institution Management.
  4. Select Members > Member Search.
  5. Locate and open the learner's account.

A Stage Conflict Resolution page may appear when a learner's previous coursework history conflicts with the stage selected during the course assignment process.

For example, a learner may be assigned to a Refresher stage based on the selected course or enrollment responses, but existing coursework records indicate the learner should remain in a different stage.

When this occurs:

  1. Review the stage suggested by the current course assignment.
  2. Review the stage indicated by the learner's existing coursework history.
  3. Select the appropriate stage placement.
  4. Click Submit to continue.

The selected stage will be used when the course is added to the learner's curriculum.

Notes

  • Available courses depend on the subscriptions and content available to the learner's institution.
  • Enrollment Questions only display courses linked to the institution's configured enrollment question responses.
  • Not all course groups include multiple stages.
  • Administrators can review assigned courses from the learner's Curriculum Information section.
  • The Stage Conflict Resolution page may appear when adding courses through either the Enrollment via Enrollment Questions or Choose Courses from a List method. Administrators should select the stage that best reflects the learner's current training status and institutional requirements.
